The standout highlight is its unprecedented hybrid driving range of up to 1,650 kilometers on a full tank and charge, alongside 125 kilometers in pure EV mode. This remarkable figure means that drivers can now enjoy long-distance journeys without the fear of range anxiety. Powered by MG’s advanced DMH Super Hybrid Technology, the new MG 8 seamlessly integrates fuel and electric power to maximize efficiency and driving flexibility.
Earlier this year, the MG 8 secured a place in the record books by achieving a Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled by a PHEV: an astounding 2,208 kilometers on a single tank and charge, with an impressive fuel consumption average of just 2.49L/100 km. This milestone further underscores MG’s engineering excellence and focus on delivering both sustainability and performance.
The MG 8 PHEV has also undergone extensive hot-weather testing to meet the demands of the Middle Eastern climate, ensuring reliability, durability, and compliance with GSO and SASO standards. With a wheelbase of 2,810 mm, sleek proportions, and signature design cues such as the wide grille, LED headlights, and flowing roofline, the MG 8 blends elegance with a commanding road presence.
