Nissan Introduces All-New Tekton to the Middle East

Nissan has introduced the all-new Tekton to the Middle East, adding a new nameplate to its regional SUV portfolio and combining bold SUV styling, turbocharged performance, intelligent technology and everyday practicality.

Following its world premiere in India, the Tekton has now made its regional debut at Auto World Kuwait. Developed under Nissan’s “One Car, One World” philosophy and manufactured in Chennai, India, the model is intended for multiple international markets, including the Middle East and Africa.

The arrival expands Nissan Middle East’s SUV range, which already includes established models such as the Patrol, X-Trail, X-Terra, Pathfinder and the all-new Kicks.

Bold SUV Design in a Compact Package

The Tekton is designed to bring the visual confidence of a larger SUV into a more compact and versatile format. Its muscular proportions and wide stance give it a strong road presence, while 212 mm of ground clearance supports greater confidence across varied road conditions.

The model also offers available 18-inch alloy wheels, further reinforcing its assertive SUV character.

The Tekton’s design draws inspiration from Nissan’s SUV heritage, particularly the Patrol, while creating a distinct identity aimed at drivers seeking a combination of urban practicality and rugged styling. Nissan previously described the Tekton as bringing together luxury, performance and connectivity in a compact SUV package.

Turbocharged Performance

Under the bonnet, the Middle East Tekton features a 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 153 horsepower and up to 278 Nm of torque, according to the regional press release.

Power is delivered through a six-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, providing a combination designed for responsive everyday driving and comfortable highway performance.

The Tekton’s arrival gives Nissan another contender in the increasingly competitive compact SUV category, where customers are looking for vehicles capable of balancing performance, efficiency, technology and practicality.

Technology and Comfort Take Centre Stage

Inside, Nissan has focused on creating an elevated and convenient driving environment. Smart driver-assistance technologies are complemented by cabin features intended to make everyday journeys easier and more comfortable.

The broader Tekton platform includes features such as digital displays, advanced parking assistance and an Intelligent Around View Monitor, although exact equipment can vary by market and specification.

Nissan’s official Middle East website currently lists the Tekton as “Coming Soon,” while customers in Dubai can already register their interest in the all-new Nissan Tekton to receive launch updates and announcements.
