The all-new 2023 Z stays true to its performance roots, with a powerful 6-cylinder under the hood; a Front Midship, rear-wheel-drive design that places the engine farther back in the chassis for enhanced balance; and a suspension that makes you feel hard-wired to the road. The new Z is powered by an all-new 6-cylinder engine delivering 335 horsepower and 376 lb.-ft. of torque—the most power ever in a Nissan Z model. The engine is mated to an advanced 7-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and paddle shifters for more driver control.
The new architecture delivers excellent handling characteristics for an exhilarating driving experience. The front wheels are mounted on an independent double wishbone suspension with coil springs, dual dampers and stabilizer bar; while the rear wheels are mounted on an independent multi-link suspension with coil springs and stabilizers bar. The Z’s suspension has been specifically tuned to deliver exceptional body control while providing a smooth ride quality on any road surface.
