The event marked Dubai Duty Free’s 19th year as title sponsor of the Irish Derby, underscoring the company’s deep-rooted commitment to Irish racing and its long-standing relationship with The Curragh.
Ramesh Cidambi, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, along with his wife Alpana Cidambi, welcomed 100 guests to the exclusive St. Leger Suite, offering spectacular views of the track, the parade ring and the winning post. Guests were treated to a gourmet lunch, refined afternoon tea and a variety of live and immersive entertainment throughout the day. Also in attendance was Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Dubai Duty Free who presented the races on the day.

The Dubai Duty Free Best Dressed Competition once again drew a dazzling array of racegoers, all eager to impress the style panel. This year’s lead judge was media personality, Vogue Williams, who was joined by Alpana Cidambi, representing Dubai Duty Free and Bairbre Power, fashion and lifestyle editor.
Jeanette Kelly from Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, was declared the Best Dressed. The stylish race goer stood out to the judges as she wore a blush pink dress which she matched with a Laura Hanlon hat rented from Hats Amore. She accessorised her look with a bag and her shoes from Next and a stunning cape by Ukrainian designer Malva Flores.
