SOUEAST S08 Luxury Launches in UAE From AED 99,900

New Seven-Seat SUV Targets UAE Families With More Features for the Money

The UAE’s increasingly competitive SUV market has another new arrival. SOUEAST has launched the S08 Luxury in the Emirates, with pricing starting from AED 99,900 under a special introductory offer.

The new model enters one of the busiest areas of the UAE automotive market: affordable family SUVs combining seven-seat practicality, technology and premium-inspired equipment.

Its arrival also illustrates how rapidly competition among newer automotive brands is intensifying across the Emirates.

A Seven-Seater for Under AED 100,000

One of the S08 Luxury’s biggest attractions is its combination of size and price.

At an introductory starting price of AED 99,900, the SUV offers three-row seating for seven passengers, making it an interesting proposition for families looking for additional space without moving into a considerably more expensive premium SUV.

The S08 measures approximately 4.9 metres long, giving it the road presence expected from a substantial family SUV.

SOUEAST has also focused heavily on interior equipment, aiming to give buyers a more upscale cabin experience at a relatively accessible price point.

Turbocharged Petrol Power

Under the bonnet, the S08 Luxury uses a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

The engine produces approximately 197 hp and 290 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

While electrified vehicles are receiving enormous attention in the UAE, petrol-powered SUVs continue to play an important role, particularly among motorists who regularly undertake longer journeys or simply prefer conventional powertrains.

The S08 therefore enters the market with a familiar formula—but combines it with the equipment levels increasingly associated with newer Chinese SUVs.

Technology Takes Centre Stage

Inside, technology is one of the S08 Luxury’s key selling points.

The cabin features a large central infotainment display alongside a digital driver’s screen, creating the wide-screen dashboard appearance that has become increasingly common in contemporary SUVs.

Connectivity and convenience features are complemented by a panoramic sunroof and other comfort equipment aimed at making the S08 attractive as an everyday family vehicle.

For UAE motorists, where cars often spend significant time in traffic and on long motorway journeys, cabin comfort can be just as important as outright performance.

Competition Is Getting Tougher

The S08 arrives at a fascinating time for the UAE automotive industry.

Buyers now have access to an expanding selection of vehicles from Chinese manufacturers, many offering specifications that would previously have been associated with substantially more expensive models.

This is putting pressure on established manufacturers to compete not only on reputation and resale value but also on technology, warranties, equipment and price.

Recent UAE launches show just how active the market has become, with electric, hybrid and conventional petrol models all fighting for attention.

Is Value Enough?

An attractive specification sheet and sub-AED 100,000 introductory price certainly make the S08 Luxury interesting.

However, UAE buyers increasingly look beyond the initial purchase price.

Dealer support, warranty coverage, servicing costs, spare-parts availability and eventual resale value can all influence the real cost of ownership.

These areas will be important as SOUEAST works to build its presence in the Emirates.

Another SUV Joins the UAE Battle

The arrival of the SOUEAST S08 Luxury demonstrates just how quickly the UAE’s SUV landscape is changing.

Seven seats, a turbocharged engine and a long equipment list at an introductory price below AED 100,000 give the newcomer a clear value-focused proposition.

Whether that is enough to tempt UAE buyers away from more established competitors remains to be seen.

But one thing is certain: competition in the Emirates’ family-SUV market just became even stronger.
