Bentley’s Boldest Drop-Top Yet: Meet the Bespoke Batur Convertible
Bentley has introduced a breathtaking new creation—the first-ever Batur Convertible, hand-built by the brand’s exclusive bespoke division, Mulliner. Making its debut at the Monterey Car Week following a dynamic appearance at the Festival of Speed, this remarkable grand tourer redefines luxury and performance.
This one-off model is no ordinary convertible. It’s finished in an eye-catching Opalite silver, enhanced with a dramatic Beluga racing stripe and bold Mandarin orange highlights, offering a blend of elegance and sportiness. The design embodies the “One plus One” philosophy—a unique interior concept that visually separates the driver’s cockpit, finished in Beluga black, from the passenger’s side, clad in Linen tones, with Mandarin elements subtly uniting the two spaces.
Under the hood, the Batur Convertible roars with a powerful 740 bhp W12 engine, making it the most potent drop-top grand tourer in Bentley’s history. The visual appeal of the car mirrors its performance, with the racing stripe starting from the front radiator, sweeping over the hood and cockpit, and continuing to the rear deck—creating a seamless flow of design and power.
This exceptional car is not only a showcase of Bentley’s engineering prowess but also a reflection of its client-centered design approach. The Batur Convertible was developed as a close collaboration with the client, ensuring every detail was customized to perfection.
From its distinctive split interior to its record-breaking performance and bespoke craftsmanship, the Batur Convertible is a bold statement of Bentley’s future in ultra-luxury motoring.
